WALK/RUN/BIKE FOR UMSTEAD

The 2020 Walk, Run Bike for Umstead event will be on Saturday, April 18. Find more details here.

Our annual Walk/Run/Bike for Umstead includes runners, walkers, babies in strollers and pets on leashes.  Participants are serenaded along the route by musical troubadours and greeted at the finish with great snacks and acoustic music from the stage. There are children's activities, a silent auction, food trucks and more. All funds raised are used for the benefit of Umstead State Park.

UMSTEAD MARATHON

The 17th Annual Umstead Marathon will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at William B. Umstead State Park. This is Carolina Godiva Track Club's main event and allows us to support trail running in the Triangle while supporting Umstead State Park.

If you don't plan to register but will be around on March 7th, please pencil in volunteering for the marathon into your calendar. We always need at least 100 volunteers to make this race happen.

Hope to see on on March 7th as either a runner or as a volunteer. Click here to register.

Call for Volunteers

The 17th Annual Umstead Trail Marathon is coming on March 7, 2020, and we need your help. Why should you volunteer? You make a difference being out there. The runners consistently praise the Umstead Marathon for having some of the best race volunteers. A smile and a little bit of cheering goes a long way.

The Umstead Marathon race has given over $35K to the Umstead Coalition since its inception.

It's fun! You get to enjoy being in the great outdoors with other like-minded people.
We need over 100 volunteers to put on a successful race.

Please consider spending March 7, 2020 in beautiful Umstead State Park supporting the runners, the Umstead Coalition, and the Carolina Godiva Track Club. Click here to sign up to volunteer.
