Interested in learning more about the location and amazing value of the Odd Fellows Tract and why it is so important to protect it from the proposed RDU Quarry? Join this hike to learn about the history of the Odd Fellows Tract and what we might lose if RDU Quarry gets approved.

This will be a slow-paced hike — expect to stop often for discussions.  We'll hike to Crabtree Creek and beautiful rock outcrops in a section of Umstead State Park. This is an out and back hike and will stay on State Park property.  

Hiking boots and long pants recommended.  We will be off trail and in the rough terrain of the forest. Hiking poles may be useful. This hike goes rain or shine.  The total distance is approximately 2 miles.
