The Plant Sale will happen rain or shine. We've moved locations from the grassy area at the Reedy Creek entrance parking lot to the Picnic Shelter (just to the right of the parking lot): 2100 N Harrison Ave, Cary, NC 27513.

This service day will assist with the set-up, event, and take-down for our annual fall plant sale to support William B. Umstead State Park. 

We have set up 2 volunteer time slots: 8:30am-1pm which includes set-up and event start; 11am-3pm (which includes event and take-down)

Volunteer tasks will include: raising the tents; unloading and organizing the plants, T-shirts, and merchandise; assisting folks buying plants, assisting with checkout, and take-down.

We will provide water and light snacks for our volunteers. We have vastly expanded our plant varieties and quantities this year and we expect a large number of folks anxious to take advantage of our wonderful offerings. We are looking for up to 20 volunteers to help make this event run smoothly.
