We're looking for volunteers to help us set up and run a special event to celebrate Umstead's 90th B-day.  William B. Umstead State Park was established in 1934 by the National Park Service.  The event day volunteers will help with set-up, check-in, parking,  food serving.  Entry free to volunteers: concert, hors d'oeuvres, fresh-baked pizza, root beer, dessert (and beer if over 21) to volunteers.  

We have multiple volunteer time slots:

• Friday, October 18, 1-6pm 
• Friday, October 18, 4-7pm
• Saturday, October 19, 1-5pm
• Saturday, October 19, 3-6pm
• Saturday, October 19, 5-8pm
• Note: we will likely set up additional volunteer set-up days/time (check back)

We are also looking for volunteers to help with set-up on Friday morning.

We're looking for up to 30 volunteers to help make this event run smoothly.

Location: Sycamore Mess Hall, Access off US70/Glenwood Ave Park entrance.  Follow signs to Multi-use Trail Head (and our temporary event signs).
