SORRY, THIS HIKE IS NOW FULL.  There is still space on the Umstead Coalition's other hike: a family-friendly naturalist hike at 11am and, also  all day scavenger hike put on by the Park rangers.

Come visit several locations at which ruins of old buildings can be seen, learning about park history along the way. Please wear closed-toed shoes, bring a water bottle, and be prepared to hike 3-4 miles.  The hike will begin in the parking lot at the Reedy Creek entrance to Umstead State Park. Please show up 5-10 minutes before the posted hike time, because hikes will begin on time. Hikes are free. We hope you can join us!

Hike leader: David Humphrey, Umstead State Park Historian
