Registration to Walk/Run/Bike for Umstead not required to attend the plant sale, visit the arts and craft vendors or participate in the silent auction!

Thank you to everyone who came out to our Native Plant Sale on April 15, 2023 in Umstead State Park! We're thrilled with the number of people interested in native plants to help build and restore our local ecosystems. 

We have some plants remaining and will be selling them at the Walk/Run/Bike for Umstead event on April 22. The plants will be available to purchase from 8am - noon. There is no fee to attend the event, but if you're interested in walking/running or bike riding, then you'll need to register (early bird pricing ends at midnight on April 16).

The event will have live music, arts and crafts vendors, children's activities, silent auction, door prizes and a food truck. Attendees can visit the vendors and participate in all these activities for free (except the walking, running and biking).

So come out and bring your whole family for a fun morning celebrating and supporting Umstead State Park! 100% of all proceeds go to support Umstead State Park and the three court cases related to RDU Quarry, Crabtree Creek Bridge and the Sunset Clause (read the current status of those here).
