Walk/Run/Bike for Umstead

2021 Walk/Run/Bike for Umstead - April 3 to April 22, 2021

REGISTER NOW

We're excited to host our popular Walk/Run/Bike event this year from April 3-22, 2021.

How it works

We've set up two out and return routes (4.1 and 11.2 miles) on the multi-use trails (MUT) in William B. Umstead State Park. Both routes start near the Harrison Ave Park gate (Cary entrance) and go to Reedy Creek Lake via the Reedy Creek Parkway and Reedy Creek Lake MUT.

Registered participants can run, walk and/or bike the official event routes anytime the Park is open (8am-8pm) on your time from April 3 to 12pm ET on April 22.

We're using the free RunGo app to track the official race timings (RunGo uses the GPS on your iPhone, Android or Apple Watch). Prizes will be awarded to the top three fastest finishers (male and female) in these age groups:

  • Child, age 12 and under
  • Adult, age 13-29
  • Adult Plus, age 30-49
  • Master, age 50-59
  • Senior, age 60 and over

Only times submitted by registered participants via the RunGo app by 12pm ET on April 22 will be eligible for awards.

Download the free RunGo app now.

After you download the app, search for the Umstead Coalition to find the routes.
